MEDITECH's corporate headquarters are in Westwood, Mass., but the health technology company extends its reach globally.
Here are five things to know about MEDITECH's international presence.
1. MEDITECH holds market share in 21 countries outside of the United States and U.S. territories, including Australia, Botswana, Ghana, Honduras, Kuwait, Singapore, Swaziland, United Arab Emirates and Zimbabwe.
2. MEDITECH has 650 international customers across the globe.
3. In Botswana, the entire public healthcare community is slated to use MEDITECH's software. In July the company announced MEDITECH South Africa signed an agreement to implement MEDITECH to all 28 public hospitals and clinics this year.
4. Nearly four in 10 Canadian healthcare organizations use MEDITECH's EHR. The vendor is also making headway in the Spanish speaking market.
5. The vendor has dedicated services partners in five global regions serving Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
