Meaningful Use Payment Growth Slows in May

The number of providers who received meaningful use incentive payments from CMS in May was only slightly higher than the number who received payments in April, the lowest increase since June 2011.

Of the estimated 527,000 providers eligible for the incentive payments, 55.4 percent had received one by the end of May, up from 55.3 percent in April.
