McKesson Quality eMeasures and Clinical Performance Analytics solutions have received the federal government's "meaningful use" approval by earning the electronic health record certification, according to a company news release.
The certification deems the EHR software capable of enabling providers to quality for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This is McKesson's first major quality/inpatient EHR vendor to achieve modular certification for clinical quality measures.
The EHR software is compliant with the criteria adopted by the Department of Health & Human Services. McKesson Quality eMeasures manages the calculation and submission of inpatient quality measures. The Clinical Performance Analytics generates patient lists and automates measure calculation.
