Using web-based health information exchange technology from Orion Health, Louisiana-based Oschner Health System can now connect thousands of physicians to patient medical records, according to an Oschner news release.
Oschner's recent acquisition of several area community hospitals meant that data from different locations needed to be accessible to the entire community. The HIE technology lets physicians receive electronic patient updates and access more complete patient records.
