New Orleans-based LCMC Health is teaming up with the newly launched Windancer Technologies, which aims to help healthcare systems implement new technology, software and services to improve patient care.
C. Lloyd Mahaffey, a former senior executive at Apple and Verifone, joined together with Karen Scott and Scott Bateman, co-founders of Healthcare Project Management Partners, a U.S.-based EHR deployment service provider, to launch Windancer Technologies.
The company's offerings focus on helping health systems successfully deploy digital health record systems as well as cybersecurity services. LCMC Health is Windancer's first customer.
