Johnson Controls signed a $12.9 million technology contract with Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Healthcare to improve and modernize technology at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
The partnership with Johnson Controls is part of a $280 million modernization project that Methodist University Hospital is undertaking, which also includes a 440,000-square-foot expansion. Johnson Controls will offer assistance with design and technology integration, particularly in the new nine-story patient tower, a part of the expansion. The tower is slated to be completed in 2019.
Johnson Controls has more than 40 years of experience working with Methodist Healthcare, providing operations and management services.
