Indiana University Health's transplant program has opened a new kidney transplant telemedicine clinic in Gary, Ind., according to a health system news release.
The new clinic is designed for patients who have already had a transplant and allows IU Health transplant nephrologists to consult and follow up with patients through real-time videoconferencing.
The transplant outreach clinic in Gary is the seventh that IU Health has established in the state.
