Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare has implemented Cerner's iCentra EHR at two hospitals and 24 clinics.
In late February, Logan (Utah) Regional Hospital and Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah, along with surrounding clinics, started implementing the new EHR platform.
Cerner and Intermountain have been engaged in a strategic partnership since September 2013 in which the health system seeks to implement the vendor's EHR in all of its 22 hospitals and 185 clinics.
"The launch of iCentra at multiple locations is a milestone event for Intermountain as we create a model system for healthcare delivery that focuses on providing the best possible care for our patient population at a sustainable cost," said Marc Probst, vice president and CIO of Intermountain Healthcare.
