Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health has become the first healthcare organizations globally to attain Stage 7 validation on the updated HIMSS Infrastructure Adoption Model.
Having previously secured validation on the three HIMSS latest maturity models — EMRAM, O-EMRAM and AMAM requirements — Intermountain Health has now become the "first quadruple Stage 7 healthcare organization worldwide," according to a March 6 press release from HIMSS.
According to the HIMSS website, the recently updated INFRAM places emphasis on five essential domains that contribute to the success of healthcare organizations: cybersecurity, adoption, sustainability, performance and outcomes.
Stage 7 status is the highest level an organization can achieve.
