An infographic recently released by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT shows a fairly even national distribution of the 1,115 critical access and small, rural hospitals that have attested to meaningful use stage 1 as of July 2013.
According to the ONC, 62 percent of designated CAHs and 77 percent of small, rural hospitals (defined as hospitals in rural areas with fewer than 50 staffed beds) have attested as of July.
