Automation Anywhere — a robotic process automation technology developer — and IBM will roll out a joint solution to help businesses streamline their data operations.
The solution will enable clients to use Automation Anywhere's Robotic Process Automation platform, which creates software bots to execute repetitive businesses tasks, such as automatically capturing data from different files. A client will then be able to execute these automated tasks within business processes managed by IBM's portfolio of digital process automation software.
Automation Anywhere and IBM plan to market the joint solution — slated for release in the third quarter — toward industries with data-intensive processes, such as healthcare and financial services.
"The combination of the Automation Anywhere and IBM process management platforms provides a powerful new way for companies to streamline business processes so employees can spend less time filling out forms and more time working with customers," said Denis Kennelly, general manager of IBM Hybrid Cloud solutions.
