Hundreds of Medical Records Found Dumped Behind Vacant Building

Hundreds of medical records were found dumped behind a vacant building in Fort Wayne, Ind., according to a WAYNE-TV report.

The records dated back to the late 1970s and early 1980s and included patients' names, dates of birth and information on medical conditions. Many records also had the name James C. Graham, MD, and his now-vacant practice address, according to the report.

WAYNE-TV found an article in the Daily Journal of the United States Government that reported Dr. Graham was convicted on felony charges for illegally writing prescriptions and had his license suspended in 1983. He died in 1998, according to the report.
