HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital taps Gozio Health for indoor navigation app: 3 things to know

O'Fallon, Ill.-based HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital partnered with Gozio Health to develop a wayfinding app for patients, the mobile platform company confirmed Jan. 17.

Here are three things to know.

1. The free app, called HSHS Go, guides patients and visitors to various locations within the hospital using step-by-step directions.

2. In addition to the navigation feature, the app also includes a database of HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital physicians, a link to the Epic MyChart patient portal and access to AnytimeCare.com, the hospital's telehealth portal.

3. The HSHS Go app is available for Android and iPhone devices.

"As we continue to integrate technology into every part of our healthcare delivery model, the addition of the HSHS Go app will advance the patient experience at St. Elizabeth's by reassuring patients and guests that they will reach their destination on time and with less stress," said Peg Sebastian, RN, MSN, president and CEO of HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
