Avnet Technology Solutions has been named the first Certified Educator of HIMSS Analytics' new DELTA-Powered Analytics Assessment maturity model.
Like HIMSS Analytics' electronic medical record and continuity of care maturity models, the DELTA-Powered Analytics Assessment is designed to help providers gauge their health IT progress relative to their peers and reveal where the organization should be investing its resources to advance its abilities.
The assessment uses the industry-neutral DELTA Model framework to measure maturity across five critical analytic competencies: Data, Enterprise approach, Leadership, Targets and Analysts.
As a Certified Educator, Avent has been recognized as qualified to provide its customers with the training and knowledge required to move up the maturity model.
"By becoming a Certified Educator of the DELTA-Powered Analytics Assessment, Avnet will be able to work with our solution provider community to structure long-term technology road maps and solutions that help healthcare organizations recognize the vital steps needed to take advantage of the data in their IT and clinical systems," said Patrick Stewart, vice president and general manager of IT Solutions for Avnet Services, in a news release. "Together, we will be able to assist healthcare organizations in evolving and increasing their analytics capabilities, enabling them to get the most value out of their analytics investments."
