The Leading Health Indicators for Healthy People 2020 is a set of 12 categories that include 26 key measures of health, such as access to care, rates of health conditions and environmental factors contributing to health problems. The challenge, which builds on the Healthy People 2020 app development challenge issued last year, aims to enable communities to identify vital health issues and improve their health.
The app must be created through a collaboration of developers and health professionals.
