HHS chief Sylvia Burwell has appointed a new member to the Health Information Technology Policy Committee.
Anjum Kurshid is the representative for public health and is also a senior advisor-health systems division at the Louisiana Public Health Institute.
Secretary Burwell also renewed the appointments of three committee members, quality measurement representative Floyd Eisenberg, MD, MPH; consumer/patient representative Leslie Kelly Hall; and electronic exchange representative Arien Malec.
