Medocity, a healthcare startup based in Morristown, N.J., raised $1.6 million to support its iCancer Health app, a collection of tools allowing cancer patients to monitor their health, manage their treatment and track their progress, according to a MedCity News report.
The app includes a general health tracker, medication management tool, diary and symptom management resources, among other features. It also features a live help option, allowing patients at home to connect by audio or video with a clinician.
According to Medocity's website, "Medocity's mission is to provide a virtual coordinate care platform that bridges the gap between the clinic and the patient's home."
