Good Technology released research in its "State of BYOD Report" (pdf) describing trends in "bring your own device" programs, in which IT departments allow employees to use their own devices to access confidential data. Results show that the average cost for a company-owned device is about $80 per month, with finance and insurance, professional services and healthcare reporting the highest costs.
