Providers and payers in North America will spend more than $34.5 billion on health IT in 2014, according to a report by Technology Business Research.
Providers will spend an average of $12 million, and payers $18 million, on IT throughout the organization, including electronic health records, claims management and call centers.
The report is based on a survey of 225 executives at provider and payer organizations.
