Politico surveyed 25 representatives of health IT vendors, tech firms, government agencies and consultants to see who the community anticipates will win the Department of Defense's $11 billion EHR contract. Here are the results.
Sixty-five percent expect the Epic Systems-led team will cinch the contract while 31 percent voted for Cerner's team. One respondent abstained and the Allscripts-led team received zero votes.
The three teams are:
- Epic and IBM
- Cerner, Leidos, Accenture Federal and Intermountion Healthcare
- Allscripts, HP and Computer Sciences Corp.
