Incubator Rock Health has selected its new class of seven health IT startups, companies with products ranging from mHealth solutions to telemedicine services.
The new class includes:
- Ambient Clinical Analytics uses big data and analytics to improve clinical decision-making in the intensive care unit and emergency department.
- Doctor on Demand is a videoconferencing-based telemedicine service.
- Factor 14 is a platform to help providers manage patients who are on oral anticoagulants.
- Health Equity Labs is developing a FICO® score for health.
- Kurbo Health has developed mobile apps that help control children's weight, using a program from Stanford (Calif.) University that has an 80 percent success rate.
- Stride Health software helps users choose the most appropriate health insurance plan.
- Studio Dental is a "dentist office on wheels" that visits patients at their place of employment.
