Redox, a health IT startup based in Madison, Wis., has scooped up $9 million in investor funding, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
Redox allows healthcare professionals to integrate new applications into their EHRs, furthering interoperability. The company plans on using the new funds to scale their business and hire more staff. In all, the company has received $13 million from various investing rounds.
Former Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems employees founded Redox, whose technology works with a wide array of EHRs.
RRE Ventures led the most recent funding round.
"The proliferation of healthcare applications promises better data, better patient care and better outcomes. Redox is helping application companies and health systems alike to realize that promise," RRE Ventures General Partner Raju Rishi said, according to the report.
