Honolulu-based Hawaii Health Systems Corp. has finalized a $28.7 million deal to implement an electronic medical record system across the state of Hawaii, according to a Bloomberg Businessweek report.
According to the report, Hawaii Health Systems, comprised of 12 public hospitals and two nonprofit affiliate providers, will start the implementation of the EMR system at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku, Hawaii, which is expected to be in place by Nov. 2012.
