Shadow Brokers, the hacker group that reportedly leaked National Security Agency techniques that were later used to spark the global WannaCry attack, are upping the prices for their stolen tools, reports The Hill.
The group began offering a monthly subscription service in June, under which people reportedly pay for regular leaks of hacking tools and documents. Originally, the service was priced at $27,000 a month in digital currency, but the group has since increased the price to roughly $92,500.
The WannaCry ransomware outbreak, which infected 300,000 systems worldwide in May, exploited tools stolen by Shadow Brokers. Government officials are unsure what other documents and tools the group has in its possession, reports The Hill.
