Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, Idaho, is now offering telemedicine services to patients, allowing them to receive care at Gritman while receiving specialty consultations from remote physicians, according to a Moscow-Pullman Daily News report.
The hospital is contracting out a telemedicine robot that is owned by Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.
The device can move on its own, which enables it to assist numerous patients, according to the report.
