Health IT company Greenway has announced the acquisition of PeopleLYNK, a patient engagement solution.
PeopleLYNK allows its customers to automate certain patient interactions, including lab results and prescription notifications. The solution will eventually be made available to all Greenway customers, and is expected to help customers meet the patient engagement criteria of meaningful use stage 2.
"Patient engagement is key to creating a smarter healthcare system, one in which patients are more actively involved in the healthcare decisions that affect them and their family members," said Tee Green, CEO of Greenway, in a news release. "Our organizations are making it possible for patients to become consumers of healthcare, and we continue to develop innovative solutions for the professionals who deliver those services."
