The global telemedicine market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 19 percent from 2010-2015, according to a Bharat Book Bureau news release.
The "Global Telemedicine Market Analysis" research report by Bharat Book Bureau, a business information company, found that market growth in global telemedicine will be spurred by greater efficiencies.
The report also showed that although the United States and Europe both dominate the worldwide telemedicine market, they do so for different reasons. The United States has had telemedicine growth due partly to federal grants, while Europe is developing telemedicine products mainly because of the demand from increasing numbers of senior citizens.
