The Amerigroup Foundation has granted $20,000 to the Georgia Partnership for Telehealth to improve access to quality care for people in rural and underserved areas of Georgia via telemedicine, according to a Sacramento Bee report.
GPT will use the grant money to establish new telehealth sites as it works to meet its goal of giving all rural Georgians access to specialty care within 30 miles of their homes.
