The Government Accountability Office has appointed three new members to the Health IT Policy Committee.
Christoph U. Lehmann, MD, will serve as a committee expert on vulnerable populations. He is a professor in pediatrics and biomedical informatics at Nashville, Tenn-based Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and the founding medical director of the
Cerner Founder, Board Chairman and CEO Neal Patterson will serve as a committee health IT vendor. Mr. Patterson is also a former member of the RAND Health Advisory Board.
Kim Schofield will serve as a representative of consumers and patients on the committee. She serves as a Health Educator and Advocacy Chair for the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America. Through her position with the Lupus Foundation of America, she acts as a liaison to the
