Stephen Clark has been appointed the U.S. commercial lead for Healthy.io, a Tel Aviv-based startup developing a smartphone app for at-home urinalysis.
Prior to joining Healthy.io, Mr. Clark spent 13 years with UnitedHealth Group's Optum. During his time with the life sciences division's data and analytics team, he served as a senior vice president and as head of product strategy and commercialization.
Mr. Clark has also been a member of the ONC's Technology Evaluation Advisory Council. In that position, he advised on the development of private payer and federal policies to foster innovation of patient-serving healthcare technology.
"As the U.S. health care system continues to shift toward value-based and outcomes-based payment, Healthy.io's solutions can play a vital role in improving screening for and early diagnosis of high-cost, widespread conditions to get patients the care they need and, ultimately, lower costs and improve patient health in the long-term," Mr. Clark said in a statement.
