Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., has announced it has met the requirements for meaningful use stage 2.
According to the latest data from CMS, 78 hospitals have attested to meaningful use stage 2 as of August 1.
"This recognition is another major milestone in the history of our EMR project and reflects the hard work of many people throughout Fletcher Allen," said John Brumsted, MD, president and CEO of Fletcher Allen Health Care and Fletcher Allen Partners. "It speaks well to the quality of our system and the effort made by both providers and technical staff alike that we are among the very few medical centers to achieve this recognition."
