CGI Federal, a subsidiary of CGI Group, announced plans to lay off nearly 169 workers from its San Antonio location, according to documents filed with the Texas workforce Commission and reported by the San Antonio Business Journal.
The company, which holds several federal IT contracts including a 2011 Healthcare.gov contract worth $93.7 million, has about 350 employees in San Antonio. It is not yet clear which operations the layoffs are tied to.
There are currently 1,500 job openings across the nation for CGI Federal, according to San Antonio Business Journal.
