Systems Made Simple has announced the acquisition of its 40th active federal contract. The health IT vendor is now serving the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense and HHS.
MarketWatch reports the company's revenue has increased more than 300 percent, from $40 million in 2010 to $167 million in 2012. Systems Made Simple's total revenue is projected to hit $260 million in 2013.
"We are thrilled to hit 40 active federal contracts, as this milestone reflects our growing presence, leadership and expertise in the government space," said Al Nardslico, president and co-founder of SMS, in the MarketWatch report. "These contracts have allowed us to add to our workforce at a rapid pace and expand our services and capabilities, and we look forward to exploring new projects and opportunities for improving technology across these pivotal agencies."
