Here are six recent news updates on key health IT companies.

Twelve of the largest EHR vendors , including Cerner, MEDITECH and athenahealth, convened in Midway, Utah for the KLAS summit to agree on new interoperability metrics.

KLAS made it into a second headline this week after the release of its 2015 report on interoperability, which ranks the top 10 EHR vendors by their data-sharing capabilities. The report also details the strengths and weaknesses of the companies in terms of their sharing habits.

athenahealth launched its "Let Doctors Be Doctors" campaign, which aims to get physicians to speak up about the problems they run into using EHRs.

Pensacola, Fla.-based Baptist Health Care will implement Allscripts solutions, including its Sunrise EHR.

eClinicalWorks now offers any of its clients using the Integrating Healthcare Enterprise data-exchange standards free interoperability solutions.

IBM reported its 14th consecutive quarter of falling revenues, but claims its cloud computing arm has grown 65 percent in the last quarter over the same period in 2014.
