Epic's Ms. Faulker has an estimated net worth of $2.3 billion. She founded Epic Systems in 1979, and the company has grown significantly in recent years, expanding its market share and reporting $1.5 billion in revenues in 2012, up 25 percent from last year.
Cerner's Mr. Patterson has an estimated net worth of $1.5 billion. He also launched Cerner in 1979, and currently serves as the company's chairman and CEO.
Phillip Ragon, the founder, CEO and sole owner of software and database systems vendor InterSystems, also has a net worth of $1.5 billion. InterSystems pulled in $443 million in 2012 revenues. The company's largest client is Epic.
