Outcome Health, which recently came under fire for misleading advertisers on the success of their ads' performances, promoted Nandini Ramani to COO.
Ms. Ramani joined the company in August 2017 as its chief engineering officer where she was charged with strengthening its technology platform. As COO, she will oversee Outcome's revenue, product and operations functions.
Prior to joining Outcome, Ms. Ramani was the vice president of engineering at Twitter. Before that, she led the Java business unit at Oracle.
"Outcome Health's mission to enable better health outcomes for every person in the world is a commitment that I share," said Ms. Ramani. "We are dedicated to transforming the healthcare industry by working collaboratively with our customers to take a practical, data-driven approach to improving healthcare for patients, caregivers and physicians at a meaningful scale. I'm thrilled to lead the effort to strengthen the automation of Outcome Health's platform so that we can meet and exceed the industry's most rigorous standards of verification and validation."
Amid Outcome's scandal, which sparked a number of advertisers to pull tens of millions of dollars in healthcare ads from the company, Vivek Kundra resigned from his role as COO, a position he took in July.
