The Electronic Health Records Association and the iHealth Alliance have partnered to support the collection of information on medical incidents that may be related to health IT use, according to a news release by the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society.
Under their agreement, the two organizations will collaborate to support iHA's online reporting service EHRevent.org. They aim to verify the relevance and timeliness of the collected data and work with other stakeholders to increase participation and support of patient safety reporting.
