Dimensions Healthcare System appoints David Peterson CIO

Dimensions Healthcare System, based in Cheverly, Md., recently appointed David Peterson as vice president and CIO.

Mr. Peterson most recently served as CIO for Boston Medical Center. He has also held executive IT roles with Catholic Health Initiatives in Denver, the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

"During our extensive search, we were looking for an accomplished IT executive with a proven track record to lead our organization to new heights and [Mr.] Peterson met all of our requirements," said Dimensions CEO Neil J. Moore. "This is a time of growth throughout every area of Dimensions Healthcare System and we want to be prepared in every way possible."
