Last year, digital health saw its highest funding numbers yet. At $4.1 billion, 2014 brought in more funding for digital health than the previous three years combined, according to digital health accelerator Rock Health.
The $4.1 billion total demonstrates 125 percent growth over 2013's funding total. The fourth quarter of fiscal year 2014 itself brought in approximately $1.1 billion.
Rock Health also reports the average deal size in 2014 was $14.1 million, which is 40 percent larger than the previous year's average deal size.
