More than 4,000 employees at Kansas City, Mo.-based Children's Mercy Hospital were affected by a security breach discovered in an online scheduling application, according to a Kansas City Star report.
Information like names, home and email addresses, phone numbers and birthdays were part of the breach, according to the report, but Social Security numbers and financial and health information were not breached.
The program was provided by StayWell Health Management. A company spokeswoman said the employees are not at risk for identity theft.
StayWell notified the 4,076 employees affected by the breach and provided a help line if they have questions, according to the report.
