Today, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced plans to pair the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act with the National Defense Authorization Act, according to a National Journal report.

3. Sen. Wyden and Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) have both expressed concerns over the bill's privacy implications, according to the report.
4. The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 was introduced by Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.).
5. As an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, the cybersecurity bill would not be subject to open floor debate, according to a Politico report.
6. Unrelated to cybersecurity, the Obama administration has indicated it may veto the defense legislation, according to the National Journal report.
