Computer Stolen from S.C.'s Spartanburg Regional, Third Theft Since March

Spartanburg Regional Medical Center officials reported a computer was stolen, the third such computer theft at the hospital since March, according to a Spartanburg Herald-Journal report.

According to the report, hospital officials said the computer was stolen from a room in the emergency center, but the computer contained no patient information.

The two other computer thefts occurred March 5 and March 28, but the report stated there was no indication any patient information had been improperly used in those cases as well.
