Commonwell Health Alliance Board Features EHR Vendor Leadership

The CommonWell Health Alliance, a coalition of health IT vendors focused on achieving interoperability between data systems, has announced the election of this coming year's board of directors.

Jeremy Delinsky, athenahealth's CTO, will serve as chairman, and Rich Elmore, vice president of strategic initiatives at Allscripts, will serve as vice chairman. Also on the board are Bob Robke, vice president of Cerner; Scott Scneider, executive vice president at CPSI; Justin T. Barnes, vice president of industry and government affairs at Greenway and Keith Laughman, executive vice president of community care solutions at Sunquest.

"CommonWell is a collaborative organization, set out to advance interoperability in healthcare. It's a formation of leaders in health IT, all collectively pooling experiences and knowledge to overcome the technology and process barriers of making data flow in healthcare once and for all," said Mr. Delinsky in the news release.
