CMS: $22B Paid in EHR Incentives

CMS has announced a total of $21.6 billion in electronic health record incentive payments has been paid out through February.

Of this total, hospitals have received $14.2 billion. So far this year, five hospitals and/or health systems have received a total of $6.4 million.

Current program registrants include 4,711 hospitals.
