Telehealth vendor Emerge.MD has released One Pass, a secure messaging app that allows instant access to a provider's directory of care teams across care sites through a private cloud.
The app is designed to allow multidisciplinary care teams to collaborate more easily and respond more quickly to a patient's needs.
"Emerge.MD brings clinical collaboration out of the stone age and into the space age," said Jim Mankin, MD, chair of the surgery department at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, in a news release. "As a surgeon, my consultation is only as good as the information I have access to. OnePass puts the patient, the entire care team and critical patient information, such as their film, in the palm of my hand."
