Cleveland Clinic and Candescent Health have entered a multiyear partnership during which the two organizations will work to transform radiology care by developing products to improve the productivity, efficiency and diagnostic performance of radiology nationwide by creating a cloud-based radiology network.
Through the partnership, Cleveland Clinic will help Candescent Health develop new products to improve radiology practices, and Candescent Health's current technology will help expand the reach of Cleveland Clinic's radiology services to other health systems. Additionally, Cleveland Clinic can make an equity investment in Candescent Health in the future.
"The healthcare model of the future requires that we find better, more efficient ways to provide services," said Toby Cosgrove, MD, president and CEO of Cleveland Clinic. "That will only happen through technological advances that lower costs, drive efficiencies and allow doctors to put patients first. This partnership will help the radiology community improve quality and productivity by expanding technology and clinical expertise to health systems throughout the country."
