The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives has named 254 hospitals and health systems to its 2018 HealthCare's Most Wired list.
The Most Wired list aims to recognize healthcare organizations that are "at the forefront of using healthcare IT to improve the delivery of care," according to CHIME. In 2018, 647 organizations representing 2,190 hospitals from nine countries submitted surveys for consideration, detailing IT capabilities related to interoperability, information security, patient engagement and more.
This marks the first year CHIME has administered the Most Wired survey, which the group acquired from the American Hospital Association in July 2017.
Here are the top 10 hospitals and health systems that received Most Wired recognition from CHIME:
1. Nicklaus Children's Health System (Miami)
