Milwaukee-based Children's Hospital of Wisconsin partnered with Grand Rounds, a provider of patient-matching solutions, to extend its remote consultation services and increase access to in-person visits.
Grand Rounds' technology solution will allow Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to expand its specialized care services to more children across the country. The solution will also enable the hospital to expand its employer strategy, making its services available to those covered through 100-plus large employers who offer Grand Rounds as a benefit.
"Whether and where to receive medical care is one of the most important decisions we make as health care consumers," said Lawrence Hofmann, MD, co-founder of Grand Rounds and co-medical director of cardiac and interventional radiology at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in Palo Alto, Calif. "This is especially important in complex pediatric cases where access to high-quality pediatric care varies greatly across regions. Our collaboration with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin will expand access to world-class care for pediatric patients and their families nationwide."
