1. McKesson's profit for the first quarter 2016, ended June 30, 2015, totaled $576 million, a 43 percent increase from the $403 million profit posted for the same time period last year.

2.The Department of Defense announced yesterday the bid team comprised of Cerner, Leidos and Accenture won the agency's contract to overhaul the military's health records, the biggest federal IT contract since HealthCare.gov.

3. Iron River, Mich.-based NORTHSTAR Health System will go live on Epic's EHR platform next month.

4. Bend (Ore.) Memorial Clinic's 14 month transition to Epic is scheduled to be complete Aug. 6.
