Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Health System has chosen HealthLoop as its patient engagement platform.
HealthLoop, based in Mountain View, Calif., will integrate new patient service systems to automate patient follow-up directly into Cedars-Sinai's EHR platform. The platform aims to improve the patient experience and aid in the transition to value-based care, according to a news release.
HealthLoop's platform automates routine follow-up care and monitors clinical issues, providing patients and providers with clinical information that is understandable and actionable. Available on mobile devices, the app aims to improve adherence through supportive communication while strengthening the online presence of a practice and expanding its referral base.
